A Brand & Website for science-inspired chocolatiers, The Cocoa Lab!
As soon as I got the brief from Director, Sarah, I knew this was going to be a fun project to work on! I mean, who doesn't love chocolate?
The Cocoa Lab is a new artisan 'science-inspired' chocolatier, fronted by former Captain of the UK Pastry Team and Le Manoir alumni, Barry Johnson.

With the business' focus being on sharing fun chocolate facts and carefully curated flavour combinations, Sarah and Barry wanted to incorporate a laboratory/mathematics theme into the brand using geometric shapes, blackboard tones and a pop of bright 'chemistry' colour!
The brand concept board
All the while, we kept the brand minimalistic, ensuring it would stand out on the chocolate's packaging at artisan food fairs around the country.
The brand Collateral
We also created business cards for both Sarah and Barry, as well as flyers to distribute during their upcoming events to get the word out there!
The Landing page Design
When you're busy spreading the word about your business, it is of course important to have a way for potential customers to find you! So we set up a landing page website for The Cocoa Lab to explain a little more about what they do, and start to collect details from interested 'passers by'.
