30 Day Challenge to Get New Clients! (For Freelancers & Small Biz Owners)

Join in my 30 day freelancer challenge to get new clients (or your FIRST EVER clients, if you’re a new business!).

Perhaps you’ve been freelancing for a while and you’ve hit a bit of a lull or quiet period. Or perhaps you’ve just finished setting up your new business, but the money isn’t exactly rolling in. Despite what people say, if you build it, ‘they’ won’t come unless you put a lot of time and work into encouraging them to!

This is called ‘Sales and Marketing’, and as a concept it’s pretty enormous.

If you’re feeling completely overwhelmed by all the work you need to do in order to get new clients for your business, you’re in the right place!

I’ve made a big list of all the things you can do that will help you to find new clients, and have split them down into manageable activities that you can do in just an hour or two per day.

By joining this challenge and doing these activities over the course of 30 days, you’ll be well on your way to booking up calendar with new projects and client meetings!

Who is this 30 day challenge for?

I’ve written out these activities from experience of what has worked for me - an online-based, service B2B (business-to-business) freelancer. However, I’m sure many of these things can be applied no matter what industry you’re in, and I’ve included some ‘local’ marketing too. Below are just a few examples of small businesses who might benefit from this challenge:

  • Photographers

  • Coaches & consultants

  • Hair stylists/make up artists

  • Interior designers/architects

  • Freelance accountants/book-keepers

  • Copywriters and content creators

  • Dog walkers/groomers

  • Graphic designers & web designers

You get the gist! I know I haven’t mentioned any ‘product’ businesses here, but you can definitely follow along too and join in on the activities that are relevant to what you do.

What’s involved in the 30 Day Challenge?

Below is a basic outline of the activities I have schedule for each day, but don’t worry - you will be able to get more in-depth details, inspiration and explanations for each day by following along over email and on Instagram!
